Experimental LomoKino train study
This short (12 seconds) study was inspired by the Martin Scorsese film, Hugo. In Scorsese’s homage to Georges Méliès and the early pioneers of cinema, he includes a clip of the 50-second long film L’arrivée d’un train en gare de La Ciotat by Auguste and Louis Lumière. This modern film was shot using a Lomography LomoKino film camera. The film was developed and scanned and then the frames were reconstructed digitally into this short clip.
